Pamela Blake, MD, FAHS is a board-certified neurologist in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Blake is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in
Neurology at Georgetown University Hospital and a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at the Wilmer
Eye Institute at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Dr. Blake’s clinical subspecialty is in the diagnosis
and treatment of headache disorders, and she is subspecialty board-certified in Headache Medicine by
the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties. Dr. Blake is a Fellow of the American Headache Society,
and she serves as Medical Director of the Headache Center of River Oaks in Houston.
Dr. Blake also has an interest in the neurological conditions that can cause or contribute to aggressive
behaviors. This interest arose when she worked while at Georgetown University with Jonathan Pincus,
MD, a pioneering neurologist in the then-nascent field of understanding the role that disorders of the
brain play in agressive behavior. Dr. Blake has consulted on over 250 cases for the
legal system in pre-trial and post-conviction proceedings. She has evaluated approximately 75
individuals on death row in the United States and has provided testimony at trial and post-conviction
hearings.
